A surface plasmon resonance (SPR) based photonic crystal fiber (PCF) sensor having a milled microchannel, and an open D-channel has been proposed in this paper. The shows good functionality the wide sensing range of 1.14-1.36 Refractive Index Units (RIU) analyte, capability to detect low refractive index (RI). Finite Element Method (FEM) numerical investigations dictate that able gain maximum wavelength sensitivity 53,800 nm/RIU according interrogation technique. amplitude interrogations show highest 328 RIU -1 . FOM (Figure Merit) found be 105 evinces minimum resolution $1.86\times 10 ^{-6}$ RIU, which secures high detection accuracy. circular perfectly matched layer (PML) is implemented sensor's outermost as boundary condition absorb radiations. Gold plasmonic metal, while TiO2 acts adhesive for gold attachment on silica. Due with broad analyte detection, well suited practical biochemical purposes.
